Information about the Cottage

General Information

Occupancy

Although there are four bedrooms, we limit the occupancy in the cottage to not more than 6 people, otherwise you’ll find it a bit of a squash in the living room and a queue for the bathroom.

Linen

Duvets, pillows and all bed linen are provided, but you will need to bring towels, tea-towels etc.

Fuel

Foam Cottage is centrally heated throughout and all gas and electricity costs are included in the price. The oven is gas.

Car Parking

The cottage is in a restricted area for traffic, but you can stop immediately outside the cottage to unload before driving back to the car park. We recommend the main Millpool Car Park which costs around £25 for a week in summer (bring £1 coins).

Village facilities

East Looe has quite a good selection of shops including a small supermarket, newsagent, Post Office and dozens of souvenir shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. All these are within a few minutes level walk of Foam Cottage.

Pets

Sorry – we are not able to accept any pets in the cottage

No Smoking

In the interests of the majority of our guests we have made Foam Cottage a non-smoking home.

Arrival and Departure

Changeover day is normally Saturday and you can take possession of the cottage any time after 4.00pm. You should depart by 10.00am at the end of your stay. We will send more information about your arrival after you book.

Damage

Any breakage should be replaced immediately if at all possible to avoid inconvenience to guests in following weeks. Damage to the property or breakages that cannot be replaced should be reported to us immediately so that we can organise repairs without delay. We reserve the right to charge the cost of these repairs or replacements to you.
